🌟 VOLUNTEER VISITORS FOR OUR LOCAL RESIDENTS 🌟

As the new year quickly sweeps by, we are looking for people to join our visiting program for 2026. We are seeking volunteers who would be happy to give just 2 hours a month to spend time with residents in local aged care facilities.

It can be something as simple as going for a walk, having a chat, playing board games, or even colouring in — all of which can brighten a resident’s day!

Volunteer Opportunity – Beach Companion Needed!

We’re looking for a kind and reliable volunteer visitor who would love to make someone’s day by taking one of our aged care residents out for special trips to the beach.

We currently have a few special residents who would love a friendly visitor who can chat with them.

Kallangur area
- Female volunteer who speaks Arabic

- Male volunteer who speaks Italian (local dialect)

North Lakes area
- Female volunteer who speaks Mandarin.

We are looking for some friendly volunteer visitors within the Ferny Hills area who have a couple of hours in their month to spare, to spend quality time with local residents. We have two lovely residents who would really benefit from a little extra companionship. Whether it is a nice conversation in the garden, or a love for creativity, like painting or colouring in, a moment like this can add warmth and joy to someone’s day.
