“It’s really hard to find the words. I’m just so happy for our players, the Northstars club, Garry and Leanne, and everyone involved with the club.
To set the all-time record for minor premiership titles is incredibly special. It’s an emotional and very proud moment for our club, and for me as a coach, I couldn’t be prouder of this group and what they’ve done all season.
To do it pillar-to-post as the best team in the league makes it even more impressive.
It’s so tough in any sport to bring it every single night, especially when you’re the top team and everyone wants to knock you off. You know you’re going to get every other teams best, and our guys kept finding a way all season. Obviously job is not done.
I’m just so happy for the guys. They’ve earned this.”
