Please join us in a huge thank you to Steve Wunsch, our Vice President and main barman ✨🍻 who has officially stepped down, but you’ll still find him at the Warra Race, just at the other side of the bar.

Steve started pouring beers as a teenager, became Head Barman in 2006 (21 years straight), Junior Vice President in 2011 and Vice President in 2015.

Thanks for the pours, the late nights, the laughs, the calm to the storm and the leadership. A massive cheer for Steve Wunsch 🍻

💗 WHAT A RESULT! 💗

One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 Warra Races was our charity auction — and WOW, did you dig deep! 🥹👏

A huge thank you to Terry Ryan for donating his time and bringing the auction to life, and to brookebartkowskiart_ and chrismullanemillinery for their incredibly generous donations.

A very special moment was seeing Brooke’s beautiful artwork go under the hammer for an incredible $11,500 — with every dollar going directly to the McGrath Foundation. 💗

Our goal is to raise $20,000, and we’re getting closer! If you didn’t get a chance to dig deep on the day, there’s still time to help us get there.
