Don’t forget tomorrow night ( Monday) is our 3D indoor league night. 20 target competition. Get in some Practice for the upcoming 3D shoots.

Branch 3D at MTB and 3DAAA at MPB.
That and it’s the 50th anniversary for Mornington Peninsula Bowmen.
Whichever you choose, it’s archery and it’s 3D.

Our Monday indoor league night started tonight with a 20 target 3D round. A great way to get in some 3D competition practice. We can shoot just shy of 40 metres indoor so a good range of targets can be laid out. Jacob took of the win tonight closely followed by Jono then Jim.
Thursday nights are still operating for general indoor practice. So you have a choice.

Bairnsdale’s Branch 3D shoot was a cracker.

The course was so challenging that a few people left without even shooting an arrow!😳
That’s a first as far as I’m aware.
Well done to all Bairnsdale members involved.

The number of attendees from our club was down, but those of us that went, shot arrows at rubber animals.
Coz that’s what we were there to do.😘😂

In an independent study conducted by researchers from some place that conducts research, it has been found that 7.5 out of every 10 people prefer 3 when it comes to dimensions.
The good folk at Bairnsdale Field Archers, knowing this, are putting together the next Branch Shoot using the preferred 3 dimensions for the targets.

3DAAA Victorian State Championships 2026

A strong crew from West Gippy took on the 3DAAA Victorian State Titles at Twin City Archers Gippsland this weekend, and we came home loaded with medals and belt buckles!

Huge congratulations to all our state champions and division placegetters! 🥇🥈🥉

Massive thanks to Twin City for putting together top-notch, creative courses. You couldn't have asked for better company or more perfect weather. ☀️

Final 3DAAA shoot for the year is being held at Mornington Peninsula Bowmen for their 50th anniversary on the 12th and 13th of September. Anyone keen to give 3DAAA a crack, there couldn't be a better time.

(I heard a rumour that there's a raffle and a tonne of prizes at the next one 🤑)

Frosty mornings and spectacular sunny afternoons kept everyone on their toes.
