Congratulations to our Men’s Triples Club Champions, Daniel Sheehan, Terry Sullivan and Daniel Cooper (replacing an injured Paul Simmons) who defeated Rob Renn, David Gatewood and David Ferguson in a very close contest yesterday afternoon. They now become champions for the third year in a row!

Pot Hole Fixers are the Series 7 winners of Bowens Big Bash Bowls after a dramatic final night that saw them come from 5th place to overcome minor premiers, Colman Street in the semi final then defeating Malady Electrical in the grand final!

We would like to thank all our participants throughout the series who played the game in great spirit! Special thanks also go out to our volunteers who helped run this hugely successful event and most importantly, we wish to thank our major event sponsor, Bowens! Without your help none of this would be possible!

We are also happy to announced that virtually all our competing teams have confirmed their entry into Series 8 which is due to commence in October. If you or anyone you know might be interested in coming along and joining in the fun, please contact Peter Gallasch on 0475 601 266.

The final of the Men’s Fours Club Championship was held last week. Defending champions, David Smith, John Vickerman, Brian Kennedy and Graham Davis lost in a hard fought contest against Peter Gallasch, Bruce Thompson, Jock Morrison and Russ Carrick 20-13.

With just one game remaining before finals the boys from Colman Street have moved to the top of the ladder. Unbeaten in their last seven games, Leading Edge Genetics have snuck into the top four for the first time with Pot Hole Fixers hot on their tail! It all comes to a close next Tuesday with the final regular season fixture followed by semi-finals games and the grand final. Come down to the Warragul Bowling Club at 6pm for some great entertainment, cracking tunes, cold beer, hot snags and good company!
