Racehorse training stable Marc also spent time working at leading stables in England and the USA before taking out his licence as a trainer.
Marc is a Group One winning trainer who began his career working for his father, Clarry Conners (four times winning trainer of the Golden Slipper). Marc received a thorough grounding under the tutelage of Clarry and grandfather, Clarry Snr, in turning out racehorses that have every chance of winning. Marc trained his first metropolitan winner, Stellarwood, at Warwick Farm on December 6, 1994. With
only a small stable, Marc has made a remarkable start to his career training the mare Camino Rose to win the Group One Coolmore Classic at Rosehill Gardens, Crown Princess to win the Group Three MRC Thouroughbred Club Stakes, Western Beau the Heritage Stakes at Rosehill, Mr Martini the Group Three Kingston Town Stakes at Rosehill and My Middi the Listed Jayco Cup at Caulfield. He has also trained the sprinter Nan Tien to win two Listed Races and the mare Aphasia to win the Listed Wyong Cup in 1997. In 2007/2008 Star of Crown was the leading BOBS Bonus Scheme winner in NSW.

Just finished up giving Willaidow a brush after his gallop this morning, and he’s looking absolutely fantastic! 👌
You can see why he’s such a class of animal. A two-time Group 3 winner, and he’s galloping enormous at the moment. 🐎💨
He’s shaping up for a big preparation and will head to the trials later this week. Hopefully, we’ve got another exciting prep ahead with this bloke! 🔥

Come with me to chat with the boss about Jonson’s first preparation with us 🐎
He’s shown plenty of ability, but he’s also got a few quirks that we’re slowly ironing out. He’s done a super job this preparation, and now we’ll give him some time in the paddock to mature and switch off.
Hopefully he comes back bigger, better and stronger and ready to take that next step. 💪

She’s more mature and stronger this time in, so it was a good opportunity to see where she’s at and let her have a proper hit-out.

A really positive day out for Andelise, and another valuable learning experience. She’ll take plenty from the trial and keep improving with every bit of experience she gets. 💪

A nice easy afternoon for Andelise and Claire Michelle after their first trial this morning 🌱🐴
Neither filly was out there to break records — today was all about learning, gaining experience and getting a good educational hit under their belts.
The boss was happy with what he saw and thinks Claire Michelle is a very promising filly who will take plenty of improvement from the trial.
Now it’s all about letting them switch off, have a pick of grass and relax after a big morning. 💚
