Congratulations to our Canterbury College athletes who competed for South Coast in Toowoomba at the QLD Representative School championships and competed at Jimboomba for the QA State Cross Country.

Placed 11th 🏃💨❤️💙and has made the Qld State Team!

Year 10 student Finn Watt placed 8th 🏃💨💪at Jimboomba State Championships and has been selected in the Qld team.

Year 6 student Leila Dubikzki placed 4th at the QRSS State Cross Country💙❤️💪 into another State Team.

Year 9 student Peter Flaherty placed 3rd in U17 Parra and 3rd in relay 🥉🥉 🥉🙏💙❤️ at QRSS State Cross Country at Highfields and QA States (Jimboomba)- Special Shout out to Peter’s running partner/coach, Mr Porter💪🙌🏃🏃💨

Some of our youngest Canterbury College students competed in the QLD All Schools Cross Country Relays at Nudgee College on Saturday. In perfect conditions, our enthusiastic and excited future stars kicked off their 3x1.2km relay, and I was incredibly proud of them.

On Tuesday the regional cross-country trial was held at Runaway Bay. Canterbury had multiple students in every age group competing, all showing true Canterbury spirit and sportsmanship.
Only the top 5 are guaranteed a position in highly competitive field.

🏃‍♂️ JTAS & TAS CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVALS RESCHEDULED 🏃‍♀️

Lace up those runners — the Junior TAS and TAS Cross Country Carnivals have officially been rescheduled to Monday, 8 June at John Paul College’s Cec Munns Sports Centre.

Thank you for your patience while we locked in a new date. We can’t wait to see all our students out on the course, giving it their all and cheering each other on. Let the (new) countdown begin! 🎉

Zarayah Williams was back out there today, in Triple Jump🏃‍♀️💨

Zarayah jumped a personal best jump to secure 1st place 12.08m. This is an amazing achievement from an athlete who works very hard in all her training sessions😎

Oliver has struggled with injuries this season and unfortunately, pulled his hamstring in yesterday 100m Hurdles🥹
