Cycle Re-Cycle Club - Bike repair workshop

Cycle Re-Cycle Club - Bike repair workshop At the CRC we build, fix, tune bikes, and we make sure pre-loved ones find a new home. If you want to donate or get a bike, come along and say hello!!

Check Google Maps for opening hours before coming. Cycle Re-Cycle Club (CRC) is a community based workshop driven by a team of enthusiastic bike and mechanics minded volunteers whom are delightfully happy to assiste you in building, fixing, or tuning a bike. All the tools and parts needed are made available at low to no cost for the local community. So, if you are looking for a patch for your tire, a BB square tapered crank axle, or somewhere where to donate your pre-loved bike, CRC is the place.

Very lucky to have 10 volunteers on hand today and almost completely out of bikes with seven sold!

We are keen to get a few more donations for us to fix so that they can be brought back into the community.

One of our community members quoted "two weeks ago you were full up of bikes, and now they're all gone".

We were still busy today teaching the basics of fixing flat tyres, wheel-truing (post crash fix) and hub servicing to remove play from a wheel.

Great to be back open (in the winter sun).
We appreciate our bike donations as always.

During the days session we:
- Taught a community member how to measure chain wear and tune their front and rear derailleurs (fix bike shifting issues).
- Serviced a few bikes (brake adjustments, brake bleeds)
- Saved 3 more bikes from the scrap heap
- Received a box of bike parts from a gentleman, and hopefully another pair of hands to help us fix bikes next month!

*We will be closed tomorrow 24/7/2026 due to lack of volunteers
