Today is a bittersweet day.

9 years ago was the start of my own business Connection Studios built with a dream in my mind and a blank canvas.

Over the 9years I have transformed and built the space into 8 rooms which have enjoyed many different creatives coming together and a shared home for many dancers over the years.

Alone as a single female entrapenuer with a little help from family and friends I grew a space from no customers to the home you see today. Since Covid it has not been easy like for many other small businesses but I thank everyone for the support.

This weekend also marks the final chapter for Connections. Sadly on Sunday it will be the end of the road.

I wish to thank anyone who contributed and after a much needed break should I find a new place to call home I will most certainly be in touch.

At this stage I ask people refrain from calling as whilst this news is sad for many I also have a lot to do in a very short amount of time.
Thanks for your understanding and to all who have supported the journey.

For those who are attending the Persian Yoga class tonight it is held in Studio 1 upstairs.

Class is held as a donation based class and is going towards making a change for Women, Children and Freedom in Iran.

Please arrive a few moments before 7pm so Kashi can set you up with any equiptment required.

It is a challenging yet fun workout with a difference and is open to all levels.

Tonight we had an intro to by the fabulous Kashi. A full body workout with some martial arts tools.

Thanks so much for your time and helping spread awareness and raise some funds to help change the future for women and children in Iran living through some brutally wrong times.

33 years in prison and 148 lashes of punishment for women activists fighting for rights and freedoms, many others punished still for not wearing a hijab, on top of 15000 people now facing death sentances, times need to change, this is brutal, its wrong and it is time to change.

I stand in full solidarity with the courageous women and girls of Iran and their allies, who are rightfully demanding their basic rights. We need to remove the Islamic Republic from the UN Commission on the Status for Women, a governing body that needs to maintain credibility for it to serve women and girls worldwide.

Renata Peçanha - Dubbed the “Queen of Zouk Lambada”, Renata is the most well known female Zouk Lambada dancer in Brazil and needless to say, her academy specialises in Zouk Lambada.

Jorge Peres is a registered professional dancer with the Brazilian Association of Dança de Salão and is a highly versatile instructor and performer as well as a Capoeirista (Capoeira Artist).
