A few moments from last weekendโs tournament. ๐คฟ
Good games, good people and plenty of time underwater.
Here are a few of our favourite moments from the day.

Most underwater rugby matches are played in pools that are 3.5 to 5 metres deep.
That depth gives players enough space to dive, pass and defend beneath the surface while keeping the game fast and dynamic.
Training pools can vary depending on the facilities available, but official competitions are played within this depth range to ensure consistent playing conditions.
It's another reason why underwater rugby is unlike any other team sport.

If you're already a confident swimmer, you already have one of the most important skills for underwater rugby.
Swimming provides a strong foundation through body awareness, breath control and confidence in the water.
Underwater rugby builds on those skills with teamwork, strategy and quick decision making beneath the surface.
If you've spent years in the pool and you're looking for your next challenge, we'd love to welcome you to training.

One of the things that surprises new players is how often teammates enter and leave the pool.
Unlike many sports, substitutions can happen at any time. Players rotate regularly because underwater rugby is played in short, high intensity bursts beneath the surface.
Fresh players can enter immediately while teammates recover, helping teams maintain their intensity and adapt their tactics throughout the game.
It's one of the reasons underwater rugby is such a fast paced and dynamic sport.

If you've spent years in the pool, you already know how rewarding it is to be in the water.
Underwater rugby takes those skills into a team environment where communication, strategy and trust are just as important as swimming ability.
Whether you swam competitively, train regularly or simply enjoy being in the water, there's always room to learn, improve and be part of a welcoming club.
We'd love to see you at a training session.
