Happy Monday, and a great return to form for our AHCC Gators in their match against Muddies!
With Muddies intent on a boring draw, our Gators bowlers limited Muddies as they crawled to 9/202 (dec) from 66 overs. Highlights included J. Vreke with 5/60, our captain P. Swan with 3/72 and an astounding 20 maidens bowled by the Gators bowling line-up.
With only 45 minutes to bat, the AHCC openers set about chasing down the target smashing 66 from 12 overs, including an astonishing 12 boundaries. Unfortunately, rain halted the AHCC march toward victory and our Gators reluctantly settled for a draw.
Muddies: 9/202 dec (J. Vreke with 5/60, P. Swan 3/72)
AHCC Gators: 1/66 (A. Raniga 46, T.M. Wakefield 19no)
It's Monday, and our Gators return after a month of washouts to head into Christmas and New Years with a W! A brilliant team effort and a match played in great spirits. Beers shared all round 😊

A monumental effort from our under-strength Gators to come within 10 minutes of defying Muddies a victory over the weekend. Plenty of resolve to bat all day through 72 overs!

AHCC Gators: 10/207 (A. Booker 89, M. Burrowes 29)
Tough day at the office at Judy Holt Park on Saturday as our undermanned Gators took on Muddies Cricket Club.
