Wed 17th June - State of Origin OPEN Jackpot Pairs. Jackpot Pool $160. Open to all genders.
NSW won bragging rights at the May event, so let's get a good turn out and set things right this time around. If you don't have access to a partner on the day, nominate as a spare and you'll be teamed up with another free agent.
Format is again 3-bowl pairs, each of 2 Games consists of 2 Sets of 6 Ends, Tie-break End to decide the set if scores tied after the 6th. If the game is tied, that's half a win each (no tie break for the game). Ranking after 1st game determines opponent for 2nd (1st QLD vs 1st NSW, 3rd QLD vs 3rd NSW, etc).
No rolling the Jack; placed on "T", end of line, or in the middle. Re-spot on the "T" if out of bounds.
In the event of an odd number of nominations, the spare player(s) will be added to a team to make a Triples team(s) and they will play 2-bowls each (against 3-bowl Pairs team).

Next Saturday, the 20th, we will host 50 barefoot bowlers for a birthday celebration beginning at 4:30 PM. Volunteer assistance is crucial, and a list for signups will be posted near the special events area. Proportional allocation of funds to sections will be determined by the number of male and female volunteers. Let's enjoy doing this together

Volunteers are needed to support Wellington Point High School's Year 12 students on Monday from 10:30 to 11:40.

A very special day for your calendar 💙

This morning's session with the Year 12 students was a great success, despite the rain. We adapted the session to indoor activities, using the Rookie Rollers kit to teach the fundamentals. A fun competition between the boys and girls saw the boys winning 4-2. The students demonstrated excellent adaptability and quickly grasped the basics. All students are now poised to take their new skills to the next level out on the green

Men’s Section – Outstanding 2026 Championships 9th June 2026
Following is the schedule for completion of all Club Competitions that fall under the umbrella of the Men’s Section for 2026 (with the exception of the Open Handicap Singles which will be on hold until completion of our new facilities).
There is a little wriggle room for most events but at this stage, to ensure the schedule of competitions is completed before loss of the grass greens, there can be no delays that impact the next round of play. The dates below are final. If you can’t get your match completed before the next scheduled round, the competition must unfortunately move on without you.
Only Mother Nature may have influence on Finals dates.
