CONGRATULATIONS | RC Touch Football teams
ππ CSSAQ Touch Football Champions! ππ
What an outstanding day of Touch Football for Redlands College at the CSSAQ Touch Football event!
With 8 teams competing across 6 divisions, our students produced a remarkable performance, bringing home four Premier Division titles:
π₯ Junior Boys Champions
π₯ Intermediate Boys Champions
π₯ Senior Boys Champions
π₯ Intermediate Girls Champions
In an incredible achievement, Redlands College claimed all three Boys Division titles on offer, showcasing the depth of talent, teamwork, and determination across the program.
Our Senior Girls also put together a fantastic campaign, narrowly missing out on a championship after a thrilling final that went right down to the wire.
What makes these results even more impressive is that they were achieved with very limited preparation time, a testament to the skill, adaptability, and competitive spirit of our students and coaches.
Congratulations to all players and staff involved on an exceptional day of competition and for representing Redlands College with such pride and sportsmanship. The future of Touch Football at Redlands is looking incredibly bright!

AFL | AFLQ Schools Cup Senior Teams
Earlier this week, our Senior AFL teams took part in the Bayside AFLQ Schools Cup Gala day held at Redland-Victoria Pt Sharks Football Club. Donning their brand-new kits, both teams took to the very wet and muddy playing arena. The weather wouldn't break their spirits, however, with both teams putting on fantastic performances to reach the grand final of their division.
The boys on their way defeated Mabel Park SHS, Cleveland DSHS & Victoria Pt SHS, going down to Carmel College in the pool stages. In the Carmel rematch for the champion title, it was Carmel that proved too strong in the end. The boys showed incredible resilience, teamwork and effort across the day, with many of the boys relatively new to the sport. Coach Mr Michael was extremely pleased with his team's outcome on the day, well done lads!
The girls, in what was a brilliant display of determination and courage in the wet weather, were a surprise packet, mostly younger players in their Senior Division. Coming out of the blocks to win their first against Victoria Pt SHS, they continued their winning ways against Carmel College, then again against Mabel Park SHS. This set up a final rematch vs Victoria Pt, where the girls put on their best performance of the day to win the game 19-6, making the Bayside AFLQ Schools Cup champs! They will now progress to the next stage of competition. Coach Mr O'Sullivan couldn't be prouder of the girls attitude and approach to the day, and was so pleased with the improvement shown.
