Wembley Junior Football Club Wembley Junior Football Club (Wembley Magpies) is a community focused Australian Rules football club Welcome to the Wembley Junior Football Club! (WJFC Magpies).

WJFC is a community focused Australian Rules Football Club which is affiliated with the Claremont District and part of the Northern Conference. Our club offers:

Auskick Program for children from PP to Y2,
Modified Junior competition (Y3-Y4-Y5-Y6-Y7),
Youth competition (Y8-Y9-Y10-Y11-Y12),
Combined Girls Team (Y4-Y6 and Y7-Y9) which is part of a standalone 12 week season. In 2016 we moved to our new home ground at Wembley Sports Park (bordered by Salvado Rd, Selby St and Hay St) which is just up the road from our former home base of Henderson Oval and in the same precinct as the Matthews Netball Centre. Use of both Wembley Oval and Pat Goodridge Oval (Auskick) means plenty of space for everyone to have a kick. Parking areas for Wembley Sports Park can be found off Selby St and also off Salvado Rd (which is near the Matthews Netball Centre). Canteen facilities are available for those Sunday morning sausage sizzles and bacon and egg rolls. A coffee van completes the picture.

Congratulations to Jayden Panizza and Lewis Santich on their selection in the Claremont Football Club 15s Development Squad, and to Benji and Jace on their selection in the Claremont 14s Development Squad.

A great result, and one they've earned through hard work all season. Well done, boys — enjoy the opportunity and we all hope you go well against the other WAFL Development Teams.

Wembley JFC celebrated "50 Years of Deadly" with an Acknowledgement of Country and a gesture straight from the heart — indigenous hand-painted footballs, gifted to our opposition as a mark of respect.

We recognise and honour the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — not just for NAIDOC round, but every week.

And we're especially proud to run out in our indigenous Kulbardi jumper, designed by Aunty Rhonda — worn for this special occasion and at every home and away match all season long.

Their match day pizza vouchers are an absolute hit with the kids — and honestly, once you've tried their gourmet pizzas and authentic Italian pastas, you'll understand why!
