There’s still plenty on the line in our Monday Premier Competition League, with ladder positions potentially changing by the end of the night.

Every game and every point could make a difference, so bring your best and finish the regular season strongly. Good luck to all teams.

Extra Thursday Night Court Times.

Thanks to our growing membership and the increasing popularity of pickleball in Ballarat, additional courts will be available every Thursday night from 7:00–9:00pm, starting this week.

2 x courts will remain available for social play.
4 x courts will be available for members to book, subject to availability.

Next week is the final week before finals, so every game and every point could make a difference. It’s the last opportunity for teams to strengthen their ladder positions and build some winning momentum heading into the finals.

A full range of sample sizes is available to try on at Ken Kay Badminton Stadium (KKBS).

Please note that the women’s sizes run quite small, so we strongly recommend trying one on before placing your order.

2026 BALLARAT PICKLEBALL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

What an incredible day of pickleball.

Over the weekend the Ballarat Pickleball Club held its annual Club Championships with more than 90 players taking part smashing last year’s attendance and making this our biggest championships yet.
The atmosphere was friendly, fun and fiercely competitive with plenty of brilliant pickleball on display throughout the day.
A special shout-out to Kieran and Jess as they prepare to begin their next chapter. Thank you for being such a valued part of our pickleball family, we’ll certainly miss you both and wish you all the very best. Also a massive thank you to Rhonda and Sandy for assuring the day ran so smoothly as usual with no hiccups what-so-ever. Thank you to Jan who attended the canteen and the working group for your efforts in helping organize such a great day.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a tremendous success.

Two Big Nights of Pickled Rats Competition last week.

With a little more incentive due to the Club Championships being held over the weekend there was certainly plenty of great action across both our weekly competitions last week.
Monday produced some hard-fought battles throughout all three divisions, while Wednesday featured several dominant clean sweeps and some incredibly close matches decided by only a handful of points.
Congratulations to all our winning teams, and well done to every player who took to the courts and contributed to another fantastic week of competition. The sportsmanship, friendly rivalry and great atmosphere continue to make these nights so enjoyable.

What a huge weekend of pickleball for the Pickled Rats

A massive congratulations to Ballarat Pickleball Club members Jan Tepper, John Petrie, Jo Beattie, Martin Hale and Graeme Finn, along with members of our extended pickleball family from across Victoria, who proudly represented our state at the 2nd Australian Masters Cup in Sydney yesterday.

The results were outstanding:

🥇 50+ - Gold
🥉 60+ - Bronze
👏 70+ - 4th place

What fantastic achievements. Congratulations to everyone involved we’re incredibly proud of your efforts and the way you represented Victoria.

We’d like to wish all the Pickled Rats representing Victoria today at the Australian Masters Cup Final in Sydney the very best of luck.
Ballarat is incredibly proud to have so many of our players representing Victoria and taking part in this wonderful event. Go get em guys.
