⛳️2026 SA Senior Amateur Championship⛳️

💞The 2026 SA Senior Amateur Championship wrapped up after 3 days at the beautiful Naracoorte Golf Club.

🏆In the women's, Bridget Hill (Woodlands) finished 11 shots clear of Wendy Harrington (Monash) to win the 2026 SA Women's Senior Amateur title, with Shirley Dean (Sanctuary Cove) claiming the super senior women's prize by countback.

🏆In the men's, round 1 leader Phil Chapman (Aston Hills Golf) held on to his lead to be crowned this year's winner, finishing 5 shots clear of Nicholas Wake (Glenelg), who also finished on top in the super senior men's category.

Round 2 of the 2026 SA Senior Amateur Championship was contested today at the beautiful Naracoorte Golf Club in what turned out to be very trying conditions for the final few holes for some.

In the women's, Bridget Hill (Woodlands GC) leads the super senior women's category as well as the overall senior women's category, 1 shot clear of Kim Morris (Shepparton GC) heading into tomorrow's third and final round.

In the men's, round 1 leader Phil Chapman (Aston Hills GC) maintains his lead heading into the final round, 1 shot clear of Nicholas Wake (Glenelg GC) who is also the outright leader in the super senior men's category.

Round 1 of the 2026 SA Senior Amateur Championship was contested today at the beautiful Naracoorte Golf Club down the South East.

In the women's, Christine Trimmer (The Vines GC of Reynella) , Wendy Harrington (Monash Country Club) and Kim Morris (Shepparton GC) are in a 3-way tie for the lead of the overall senior women category, whilst Bridget Hill (Woodlands GC) is 9 shots clear in the super senior women's category.

In the men's, Phil Chapman (Aston Hills GC) shot an opening 2 under par round to lead the overall senior men's, with Nick Wake (Glenelg GC) leading the way in the super senior men's category after an opening even par round.
