Volunteers Needed – Help Us Share Lacrosse!

LSA is seeking volunteers to support an exciting joint event with SAASTA and School Sport SA, introducing lacrosse to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students from across South Australia.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our sport to nearly 500 students, many of whom will be picking up a lacrosse stick for the very first time. While this isn't a recruitment event, it is an incredibly important opportunity to grow awareness of lacrosse, create positive experiences, and contribute to a meaningful community initiative.

We're looking for volunteers to:
• Officiate games and activities
• Assist with coaching and skill development
• Engage with students and help create a fun, welcoming environment

As the Winter Lacrosse regular season comes to an end this weekend, we'd like to thank all players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters for a fantastic season!

We're excited to share that a range of Summer Lacrosse opportunities for 2026-27 will be available soon. Keep an eye out for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and registration forms, which will be released in the coming weeks.

​This weekend, the Sturt Devils are turning the field into a fairytale for our smallest hero, Margot!

​At just 5 years old, our U8 legend—who proudly wears #2—was recently diagnosed with leukaemia. Margot is facing the biggest battle of her life, but she isn’t doing it alone.

We are standing right beside her, 🥍 sticks in hand, magic ready.✨

​We’re hosting “Stick It 2 Leukaemia” for Margot, a special dress-up round to raise vital funds for Margot and her family. Since Margot loves all things magical, we want to see the sidelines and fields filled with colour!

Lacrosse South Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to serve as members of the newly established Lacrosse SA Tribunal.

The Tribunal has been established to provide an independent, fair and transparent process for determining disciplinary matters arising under the Lacrosse SA Constitution, Bylaws, Regulations, Policies and Tribunal Charter. Tribunal members will play an important role in protecting the integrity of our sport and ensuring matters are considered in accordance with the principles of procedural fairness and natural justice.

SAILL Coach Expression of Interest

Men's and Women's Box Lacrosse Competition
Lacrosse SA is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from prospective coaches for the Southern Adelaide Indoor Lacrosse League (SAILL) Men's and Women's Box Lacrosse Competition.

The competition will be held at Blackwood Recreation Centre on Friday evenings from 30 October 2026 to 26 February 2027.

As SAILL will continue to operate under a player draft system, appointed coaches will be required to participate in the team drafting process prior to the commencement of the competition.

Eligibility
This opportunity is open to all interested and suitably qualified candidates.
Application Process
To apply, please submit a brief statement outlining your interest in coaching and any relevant preferences or considerations, including:
• Preferred competition (Men's or Women's)
• Team preferences
• Preferred coaching staff arrangements
• Any player-related dependencies or considerations

The SA U18 State Teams will represent Lacrosse SA in the 2027 LA Under 18 National Tournament over the Easter Long weekend (location TBC).

The SA Senior Box State Teams will represent Lacrosse SA in the 2027 LA National Box Lacrosse Tournament in Melbourne, Victoria (dates TBC).
