Most 8-week challenges spike your fitness, then crash it. We built the opposite: 12 weeks with a physio, exercise physiologist, strength coach and dietitian on one file, working off week 52, not week 8.
Want the full breakdown? Kieran's walking through it live, Monday 7 Sept. Link in bio.
Science of Fitness started with a small space, a big idea, and a bunch of young guys having a crack at building something they believed in.
Since then, a lot has changed. But the people, the community and the reason we started have always stayed at the heart of it.
To everyone who has trained with us, worked with us, supported us, or simply been part of the journey - thank you.
We genuinely wouldn’t be here without you.
We’re only getting started. 🖤

Most people run for months before they check if their body can actually handle it.
Here are 3 tests you can do at home to find out - plus what “running mechanics” actually means before you clock up more kilometres.

A hands-on, practical workshop teaching runners the MUST do work outside of running to keep you running better and longer.
Welcome back to the SOF’s 3rd iteration of the running mechanics workshop.
This workshop will teach you how to run better.
We break it down into understanding the following:
- How you run and generate forces in the ground (with real life VALD testing metrics)
- Why and how strength training influences running and how it applies to you.
- Provide practical take home exercises that you can implement immediately to help your running.
A breakdown of the event includes:
• Running mechanics fundamentals — foot strike, posture, forward lean
• Testing - single leg calf raise, CMJ (force plates), single leg hop test
• Biomechanical understanding - what the data tells us
• Injury prevention — the most common causes of running injuries and how to address them
• Programming - how to complement your running with strength work
• Q&A
We’ve been in the strength and running game for 14+ years and we want to help you run better.
