The most useful progress check isn't always a number.
Numbers can be useful.
But they aren't the whole story.
Sometimes the best sign that training is working is something you almost don't notice.
A movement feels easier.
You don't need as many breaks.
You can carry something without thinking twice.
You feel steadier getting up from the floor.
You can do something on a Saturday that you couldn't comfortably do six months ago.
Those changes matter because they're evidence that your capacity is growing.
At BFiTT, we still measure what is useful to measure.
But we also listen to what is happening outside the studio.
Because the point of training isn't to become very good at training.
It's to become more capable at life.
