History was made at the Central Coast Sports Awards with two athletes crowned joint Sportsperson of the Year: a first in the awardβs history π
Over 160 guests from across the coast attended the dinner with 13 awards presented.
Sport Central Coast Deputy Chairman Mark Ramsdale acknowledged the diverse range of nominees across all categories, and thanked the many volunteers and sponsors who help make the awards a celebrated night on the Central Coast sporting calendar.
"If it werenβt for those playing, coaching, officiating, volunteering, or supporting, our community would not have the opportunities we do to participate in local activities and programs.β

Jemma is a proud member of Umina SLSC, where she continues her family's legacy as an active patrolling lifesaver. At just 17, she broke into the professional surf series and competed for seven consecutive years before stepping away to chase her Olympic kayak dreams.
Now, after her incredible victory at the 2024 Shaw and Partners Coolangatta Gold, sheβs back β and ready to make her mark again!
Her accolades are truly inspiring:
