COACHES CONFERENCE 2026

A great day bringing together coaches from across South Australia for our 2026 Coaches Conference.

The conference was a chance to share ideas, learn from each other and explore ways we can continue to develop coaches, athletes and rowing across SA.

From practical discussions to valuable conversations between coaches, it was fantastic to see so many people coming together with a shared passion for the sport.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and helped make the day a success.

Rowing SA will launch a Virtual Regatta for Clubs and Open participants, providing an exciting opportunity for rowers, club members and the wider community to compete, connect and challenge themselves.

Congratulations Coby Keen!

A huge congratulations to Coby Keen on an outstanding performance in the 2026 Oceania & Australian Beach Sprints Championships.

Coby came away with an impressive three medals:

🥇 Gold – Under 17 Men’s Beach Sprint Solo
🥈 Silver – Under 17 Mixed Beach Sprint Double Scull
🥉 Bronze – YOG Only Men’s Beach Sprint Solo

An incredible result across three events! Congratulations, Coby on an outstanding achievement and a fantastic showcase of South Australian talent in beach sprint rowing.

NOW RECRUITING: 2027 State Team Coach/Selector Selection Panel

Rowing SA is seeking expressions of interest from experienced individuals to join a newly established panel responsible for recruiting coaches and selectors across all our State Team programs for 2027.

No rowing background required.
We're looking for experience in recruitment, high-performance sport, high-level coaching or stakeholder management.
Voluntary role.

🚣‍♀️ GOOD LUCK TO OUR SA MEMBERS IN AMSTERDAM!

The World Rowing Championships are just around the corner, with racing taking place in Amsterdam from 24–30 August.

We’re incredibly proud to see our South Australian members selected to represent Australia on the world stage. 💪

After months of hard work, dedication and countless kilometres on the water and erg, it’s time to race!

From everyone at Rowing SA, we wish our SA athletes the very best of luck. We’ll be cheering you on from home and following your racing throughout the week.
