The A Class state Championship was sailed at Tiranna way West Lakes today.

We had six entries for the day and received quite a surprise to accept five late entries four from Paris Creek and Bob from mawson Lakes.

Two entries from Paris Creek had serious problems from the start and beached their yachts from the start.

The Racing kept the visitors interested as Chris Juttner was leading in the first half, but Alan Gold had him under pressure.

Unfortunately Chris picked up w**d and Alan took the opportunity to take over.

Bob Whitehead from Mawson Lakes came home brilliantly to win three of the last four races and a third in other one.

RO Alex Hayter kept the Field under control, which ensured a very enjoyable day for Sailors and Supporters.
