DAMAR Rallysport

This is a tail of woe for Damar Rallysport team. In the time control for the last stage SS9 Yeticup and we suffered an electrical fault. The car started to cough and bang. Turned it off…. Tried to turn it back on (IT 101) and that was it. Our rally was done. Kirst was awesome on the notes… and we really had a great run until then. But as they say….. the dog would have caught the rabbit if he didn’t stop for a s**t.

First loop of stages done and we are in service. A few adjustments to the car, and we will try again!

At the RallyWA Experts Cup last weekend, we had our best result yet. However it didn’t come without a mishap. On SS3 we hit a tree stump on a left-hand bend after sliding wide. We managed to finish the rally, but now the race to get the car ready for next month begins.

Such a good weekend!!! 14th outright and 7th production cup. It was amazing. Thank you to Piara Waters Physio and Massage and Perth Animal Rescue for the unwavering support.
