Nobody else can build the habit for you. Discipline gets you started, especially in the beginning, before it feels like anything close to natural. But what keeps me showing up on the hard days now isn’t willpower, it’s gratitude. I get to move today, not because I owe my body another workout to earn rest or food or feeling okay in my skin.
