🏁 PIT STOP & CHECKERED FLAG Update from Wilby Motorsport Park Committee 🏁

The good news is we’ll be waving the green flag straight into top gear and officially welcoming everyone back to the WMP in March 2027, with fresh upgrades and fully recharged batteries…

We have made the tough decision to head into our regular off-season early from now, instead of November through February as we do every year, during fire restrictions. That keep our track and surrounding township safe.

While the engines fall silent on the WMP track, our crew is shifting into high gear behind the scenes! We are using this downtime to line up exciting track upgrades and give our hard-working team of volunteers a well-earned chance to pull into the pits. Whether they are exploring locally or traveling abroad, they’ve more than earned this extended pit stop, after giving it their all over the last year!!

When the Christmas tree flashes green and we launch hard down the eight-mile in March, Wilby Motorsport Park is going to drop a PB, for the books. Consider this our staging beam & burnout. As we dial in…our setup for our absolute quickest, most explosive season yet of Motorsport … we can’t wait to see you all on the track in 2027! 🚦💨

Did you know??

AWDCC is one of the largest car clubs in Australia!! (Top 5%)

Since October 2025 we have had our highest ever recorded memberships. Well over 700!! Our membership demographics cover VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD & overseas, mostly USA.

With members competing in Australia & overseas. From grassroots racing all the way upto elite level motorsport. (Circuit racing, Drags, Mk//Kc, drift & Rally events). We have 3 tracks at Wilby, Barnawatha & Jindera. Running 1/8th mile, sprints, skidpan & dirt MotoKhana//Khanacross events, as well as the Alpine Rally with NECC.

In addition to Motorsport we have a record number of historic vehicle registration, in two states. With some members having up to 10 cars registered with us!!

To celebrate our record year, we will be hosting a Friday Night Lights meet in summer, to thank all our members, sponsors & committee!!

We will be giving away a VIP Out of the Shed entry, a FREE family membership & a FREE competition entry into one of our 2027 AWDCC events, of the winners choice!! All you need to do is be at our Friday night lights meet, Repping your AWDCC members sticker on your car!!

If you’re an AWDCC member (doesn’t have to be club reg) drop a pick of your car in the comments & guess the exact number of members we will have at 5pm on the night of AWDCC’s FNL. Of course, there will be a prize for that too…
