Williamstown Croquet Club

The rain has cleared and play is under way at Williamstown Croquet Club, satellite venue for the GC Australian Open.

Congratulations to Paul and Kay Kay, finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively, at the MCC AC tournament last weekend.

A big thanks to Ann Nicole and her wonderful volunteers for the time and effort given in hosting U3A over recent weeks. It was a great success and clearly much appreciated by our U3A friends.

Today we recognise the contribution of Claire Keating (from Victoria) who recently stepped away from the board of Croquet Australia (following the AGM) after 3 years service as CA Treasurer. From the entire Croquet community - we say thankyou Claire!🙏👏

The sport of Croquet is reliant on so many wonderful people who contribute in so many ways on many levels from over 200 croquet clubs, 6 affiliate state associations and of course Croquet Australia - including board members, committee groups, selectors, national coordinators and many more!

Both teams did well to make the grand final, having finished 3rd and 4th respectively at the end of the home and away season.
