A great local event for the whole family!

Many of our Willoughby Roos players attend St Thomas Catholic Primary School, Willoughby, so we’re pleased to help spread the word about its Art & Craft Show on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October.

There’ll be rides, stalls, an animal farm, kids’ craft, live entertainment, a café, BBQ and plenty more. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome.

Saturday: 9am–4.30pm
Sunday: 10.30am–3.30pm

VALE CHRISTOPHER DAVID BEHAN

On behalf of everyone at the Willoughby Roos, we would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our former teammate and mate, Christopher David Behan.

Chris played for the Willoughby Roos A Grade team in 2006 and was always remembered as a top bloke and a great teammate.

He played the game hard, never took a backwards step and always gave everything he had on the field. Most importantly, he was a bloke his teammates loved and respected.

Chris may have only been part of the Roos A Grade team for a short time, but he certainly left his mark on the people around him.

Rest easy, Chris. You will be remembered.
Our thoughts are with Chris's family and friends at this difficult time.

What a way to finish the 2026 season!

A brilliant day celebrating our U6s, U7s, U8s, U9s, U11s, U12s, U12 Tag, U14 Tag, U16 Tag, U18 Tag and U17 Girls Tackle teams.

Every player received a medallion, with each team also recognising some standout efforts with 3–4 special awards.

A huge thanks to our sponsor BBQ School for putting on an amazing feed. Safe to say no one went home hungry!

And a massive shoutout to the people who make the season happen behind the scenes. Our coaches, managers, trainers, volunteers and Roos Committee give up so much time to make sure our players have a great season.

Thanks to all our players and families for another fantastic year at the Roos.

Tomorrow is the big one our final game of the year and the game we’ve worked so hard all season to reach.

For some of our boys, this could be their last game in a Roos jersey. For others, it’s the beginning of their future in A Grade.

Whatever your journey, tomorrow is about each other, the jersey and the Roos.
