So, what are you all up to today with this wet weather?

While most are hiding away from the rain, Jake is out at Ipswich Kart Club practising on the reversed track!

With Jake yet to race on the reversed layout, today is all about learning the new lines, adapting to the changes and getting comfortable with a different direction around the track. Every lap is a learning opportunity, building confidence and experience ahead of race day!

Rain, shine or a reversed track — we’re out here putting in the work!

IPSWICH KART CLUB – ROUND 6

What a race day for Jake!

This weekend was the first time taking his new Parolin Kart out for a race, and what a debut it was!

Technical issues meant qualifying turned into Race 1, but Jake didn’t let that stop him!

Race 3 was a tough one 😬 Jake started P5 but got caught up in a bingle that sent him right to the back of the field. But did he give up? Absolutely NOT! Jake put his head down, fought his way back through the pack and gained an incredible 10 positions! Now THAT is what we call hustle!

RACE RESULTS
R1: P2 | R2: P11 | R3: P22 | R4: P10

P10 OVERALL OUT OF 32 KARTS!

We are super proud of Jake and the determination he showed all weekend. Racing isn’t always smooth sailing, but it’s how you bounce back that counts! ❤️

New kart, new challenges, and plenty more racing to come! Bring on the next one!

What a weekend for Jake!

With a stacked field of 32 talented Cadet 12 drivers, the racing was action-packed throughout the entire grid, with every position hard-fought.

WEEKEND RESULTS:

Qualifying — 20th
Race 1 — 21st
Race 2 — 19th
Race 3 — 23rd
Race 4 — 16th ⬆️🔥

Jake battled hard all weekend, but Race 3 was certainly one of those character-building races!

He had worked his way up to 15th position and was running strongly when an incident unfortunately sent him tumbling back to 28th.

But Jake wasn't giving up!

He dug deep, fought his way back through the field and crawled his way back up the order, showing plenty of determination and resilience along the way.

That’s what racing is all about — getting knocked back, getting back in the fight and pushing until the chequered flag!

Now it’s time to reset, regroup and get ready for the next challenge…

🔥 NEXT STOP — WARWICK KART CLUB! 🔥

Jake will be back on track chasing valuable championship points as he looks to stay on top of the championship ladder.

The championship battle is heating up, and every lap, every position and every point counts!

Bring on Warwick!

WHAT. A. WEEKEND!

Warwick Kart Club absolutely delivered, and what a weekend it was for Jake!

The kart was ON POINT all weekend! The speed was there, the setup was working, and Jake drove the wheels off it!

🥉 Race 1 — 3rd
🏁 Race 2 — 4th
🥈 Race 3 — 2nd PLACE!

And when it mattered most… Jake delivered!

The final race was an absolute cracker! Jake went wheel-to-wheel with fellow Cadet 12 driver Sebastian in an awesome battle. Clean, hard-fought and seriously exciting racing!

Jake brought it home in 2nd place AND set the FASTEST LAP OF THE DAY!

Couldn’t be prouder of Jake and the way he drove all weekend. He showed great race craft, consistency and determination — and most importantly, had an absolute blast doing what he loves!

A HUGE shout-out to Brock Czislowski at Troque Karting for always having the parts we need and keeping us on track. Your support is hugely appreciated!

2nd place 🥈 | Fastest Lap ⚡ | Massive smiles 😁

Bring on the next race!
