Our friendly neighbours up at Cooloola Kart Track are chasing some volunteers to help with this weekends race meet. Its always hard to run a meet when it coincides with AKC due to many volunteers being away.

If anyone could help out they would be very grateful, it is a two day event but any help would be appreciated - the club is offering accommodation, food, voucher etc.

If you can help out let me know and I will put you in contact with the relevant person.

6 more sleeps till race day !! With AKC running on the same weekend we are a few volunteers down, would be great to get as many volunteers as possible. let me know if you can help 🏎️

Rightio superstars I have fixed up a few things, any problems let me know! If anyone can stop in and make Rachel have a break on the outgrid throughout the day that would be awesome :) You might have to forecefully remove her clipboard and give her a light nudge.

I won't be at the track for most of the day, and I respectfully ask that no one calls me either (sorry im on nightwork so will be snoozing), I will send out another message with instructions for those who are new to our volunteer role and a contact person.

Don't forget to help yourself to food and drinks throughout the day.

Any volunteers that are applying for a blue card you will need to be linked to the club before your card will be processed.

I can do that for you all you need to do is send me your reference number and date of birth.

Round 1 is upon us. Next weekend 4th of February we are racing!

The slate is wiped clean and were looking for the following volunteers:

Grid Marshall
Grid assistant
Scales Marhsall
Scales assistant
Flaggy/cut through
Starters tower assistant
Spares, spares, spares................

Under the new ruling by KA our volunteers will need to have a blue card this year too. If you're interesting in volunteering and don't have one don't stress get in touch and I can talk you through all you need to know.

It's going to be a great year of racing and we need all hands on deck to help it run smoothly, send us a message if you're keen. All training provided.

I also need a day organiser for this event, just meeting and greeting making sure everyone is all good and knows where to go. I will organise up to the day but have to work race day.
