SCRUTINEERING UPDATE QUEENSLAND RACEWAY DRIFT EVENTS

We are now halfway through the year, which means we will be cracking down on scrutineering compliance across all QR drift sessions.

This applies to:
Morning Drift Sessions
Friday Night Drifts
QR Drift Playground sessions

All vehicles must meet the required safety standards before being allowed on track. Cars that do not comply will not be cleared to run until issues are fixed.

Scrutineering is not optional it’s about keeping all drivers, passengers, and staff safe while ensuring smooth and fair track operations.

Before you arrive at the circuit, please ensure your vehicle meets ALL requirements,

If your car is borderline, fix it before you arrive it will save you time, stress, and the chance of being sent back in the pits.

What a Friday Night Drifts that was! Completely sold out with huge driver numbers and a massive crowd turning up the atmosphere was unreal all night. What an event!

Hey everyone,

I recently had a meeting with Tony Quinn, and he asked me to pass on his appreciation to all of you.

Since Tony has taken over, the standard of driving, and the focus on safety have all improved significantly. He wanted to acknowledge the effort that drivers, teams, and everyone involved has put in to help lift the bar.

This is a well deserved pat on the back for the entire community at Queensland Raceway. The progress hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it’s making a real difference on and off the track.

Millie came out tonight keen to learn and improve, and it showed big time. She got more confident and consistent as the night went on, putting in solid laps and making huge progress. Love seeing new drivers getting out there, having a crack, and improving every session. Good job Millie!
