Merry Christmas from all the Team at CENOS

The weekend didn’t come without its ups and downs, but we managed to bring the car home in one piece.
Go check out for the rundown

It’s been a big year for us at Cenos, starting a team from nothing and making it a known and well liked team both on and off the track. Unfortunately, like all good things, it won’t be around in full due to a multitude of reasons. As a team though, we’d like to wish Gordon all the best as he starts a hiatus from excels.
Also like to wish Dylan good luck on his endeavours as he will continue to race for the coming years.

Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support…
And our sponsors, without you this year wouldn’t have been made possible. The opportunities all our sponsors gave us to be able to race across the country was amazing. We can’t thank you enough

The weekend hasn’t started great, but we’re still super keen for the last round of Destiny Dunlop series.
One Raceway is such a fantastic facility and we’re super keen for this final round of the year.
Unfortunately Gordon wasn’t able to make it, but Dylan is out there for Cenos to finish off strong.
💪 bring on the racing for tomorrow

What a mixed bag this weekend brought.
Both Dylan and Gordon improving their single lap times in the current cars.

Both cars had the usual mild contact that seems to come when so many cars are so close in pace. Some minor damage but nothing drastic.

Dylan showed some good consistent pace all weekend. Experiencing a multitude of different racing techniques from a wide variety of drivers was exciting and kept a big smile on Dylan’s face. You could tell he was enjoying himself.

Gordons weekend started well but a sensor issue plagued every race session, despite trying several different options his pace fell off more and more as the weekend went on. Finishing every race was good but some 4 seconds a lap off his qualifying time by the end of the last race.

The team did well and the handling of the cars was fantastic and a testament to the work done in the garage prior to the event.

Regardless we go racing for the community and it was fantastic to see everyone again.

Congratulations to spud who had a fantastic if not hectic weekend, he will be a good addition to the series.
Well done young Angus bails on his first drive since his accident, showed some mature racing.

For those who didn’t have a good weekend, you know you will have better weekends and that massive smile will be on your face again.

Until Morgan park. ❤️

Massive event for the team. Both cars putting in 5’hrs of racing on Saturday. First up the Dunlop destiny series.
4x30 min races. Dylan had his work cut out competing against the best youngsters australia has to offer. A puncture in race 1 then a couple more issues plagued what was an exceptional event. “That’s racing” he said, “bad day at the tracks still a great day”. He has his eyes looking forward and fortunes will turn in his favour soon enough.
4x30 min races in the masters class for Gordon.
A broken header pipe meant he didn’t qualify and had to start at the rear of grid for race 1. Going well he got into 6th before a ripple strip unsettled the kill switch and he lost all power, losing several positions before realising the issue and getting back into the race.
Usual story, cornering and under brakes Gordon was on it, just loosing out on straight line grunt. Despite this Gordon missed out on a podium finish for the event by only 4pts.

The APC Sherrins fight in the night 3hr enduro seen the mighty Cenos Korean muscle cars take in the best of Production
Car racing in Australia had to offer. Mustangs, Camaros, BMWs. It’s fair to say they weren’t intimidated by the excels, but maybe by the driver line up. Dylan Capstick, Maverick Kemenyvary, Gordon smith and Production cars very own Anthony Levitt.
3hrs later and a ton of fun, laughs and crazy antics and we both finished some 20 odd laps down.
What a fantastic event and thankyou to all the APC crowd for making us so welcome, a fantastic class and event.

Thankyou
For a wonderful day at the track with a wonderful bunch of people.

It’s race week…. CERA DUNLOP DESTINY SERIES is at Queensland raceway for a Friday / Saturday event.
Dylan will be looking for some good results having found an issue over the past week or so. He will be competing in the destiny series which is designed for younger drivers to show their talent.
Gordon will be in the masters series amongst the older drivers in a competition every bit as competitive.
If you’re free this Friday or Saturday head on down to QR and watch these Korean muscle cars put on a show.
