Time Attack is a timed sprint event held at QLD Raceway and Morgan Park Raceway. What is a TimeAttack Track Day? All car makes and models are welcome.
The day comprises as a timed sprint event, where cars are spaced on the track, and overtaking is only allowed under controlled conditions (see track day rules). Each session on the track is made up of cars with similar lap times to minimize overtaking. The events are held at:
•Queensland Raceway which is on Champions Way, just off the Cunningham Highway near Ipswich. Approximately 20 minutes dri

Street Class Tyres
Seems a new wave of "140TW" tyres have turned up that are not yet on the banned list for street class. The rule do say to ask first, so to who has email, thankyou.
Street class is entry level, Street based cars. Tyres that look like they belong on race cars are not in the spirit of the rules. Thats why a banned list exists in this class.
If the tyre does not have tread blocks across the face of tyre, it will not be allowed in Street class.
We will keep updating the banned list, but it will always lag the release of Tyres. That is why the ask first rule is there. I will also add the above note as guidance.
As for any mods, please ask first. Our ultimate goal is to maintain the integrity of the classes. Thats why Mr. Rules Nick Maver agreed to independently assess and classify cars at events. Of which we are grateful. He has stepped up and volunteered his time and is not always the most popular guy at the track.
Such is motorsport, but street class is especially important as it is the path into our sport for people just starting out.
