Carey Brothers Racing IS BACK!
After 3 years away, we’re excited to be back into our passion at the track

The team stepped away for a while due to stress and life pulling us in different directions, but the passion for racing never really left. About September this year we decided it’s finally time to get back into what we love most.

And a special thank-you to Mum, and Dad for getting giving me the opportunity to get back into it. ❤️

Today we headed out for our first bit of practice post ridiculous amount of rain for months!!
Tough day, doing a clutch and a loose rim on the two senior karts followed by a bent chain in the 4 banger for Jax.
38 Bentley had a solid day after some early ignition issues.
We did what we do best and also took along a new comer Dylan. What a little legend. Loved his first run in a proper race kart. Sorry to his parents Kate & Darren, he’ll no doubt want one now!!!!

Some photos from the weekend

The team loaded up and headed to our final race meeting for the season with Auskart Racing at Ipswich Kart Club this weekend.

Our 3 karts rolled out for practice on Friday night to get a feel for the Ipswich Track prior to the race meeting which was great for all the boys.
Saturday started out well for the team with all boys qualifying in the top 3.

We had an up and down afternoon / evening, Jax getting a DNF after losing a fuel cap, Bentley getting a DNF breaking the carburettor return spring and Will getting a DNF losing a chain.
We pressed on gaining some great results in the rest of the heats and setting all 3 up for good final starting positions, Jax from 3, Bentley from 4 and Will from 2.

After the final, all the points were tallied:
- Jax 3rd Bambino’s
- Bentley 3rd Cadets
- Will 2nd Senior Light

What a great result for our little team, all 3 on the podium. So proud of all of them!!!! Well done boys.

Time to rest, rebuild and prepare for next season.
We’ve grown and learnt a lot this season with plenty of ups and downs.
