Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart! Our good crank that we had been running has some significant stress cracks in it🙈

Luckily it didn't go Kaboom while in the engine.

Barrel freshly back from replating at Electrosil Motorsport Technology they did an absolute mint job 👌

Measurements are spot on! Looking forward to getting it all together for Round 5 of the QLD Superkart Club series at Morgan Park Raceway on September 4-5

Productive day in the workshop,

Repaired a crack in the chassis, new rear seat hoop to get me sitting super low in the kart. New front brake discs fitted

Preparations for round 5 are underway!

Barrel is being sent off for replating and the kart is getting a full check over

Never leave a man behind!

A cracked reed petal made the #10 of Gareth Crisp hard to start and Lachlan Crisp couldn't get enough speed up to get it started.

After a few hand signals Lachlan understood the assignment and let me give him a push to get it started.
