Karl is doing something a little different this weekend as he will participate in his first speedway 1/5 rc Queensland title at the Maryborough RC speedway.

Karl will have 4 heats and then with the total points he will either be in a C-main, B-main or straight in the A-main.

Karl can’t thank the guys at Black Knight RC for all their help to get here with their new joker frame and all the parts I need to go racing.

We also have some exciting news coming for the Sprintcar season that we will announce in the coming weeks.

🏁From late call up to a 6th place finish🏁

Karl got the call up late New Year’s Eve to race on the 1st at Maryborough for Hughes motorsports in their 360 against the 410 cars.

We headed into hot laps/time trial where Karl was able to qualify 10 out of the 14 cars, putting him on the pole of the second heat.

Karl got the start and with the track being one lane due to the weather, Karl was able to lead till the end.

The fourth heat put Karl out of 5 and just struggled a little bit, he was able to finish in the 5th spot.

With that, Karl got a 9th starting spot in the feature where on the start Karl got past 8th on the start and held that spot till the first stoppage.

After the restart Karl started 6th and was holding that spot till a car leaked water on the track and pushed him wide, which resulted in letting a car by till another stoppage that would put him back to 6th.

With 3 laps to go at the restart, all Karl had to do was hold on which he did resulting in finishing 6th in his first 410 race in a couple of years.

Karl can’t thank the team enough for another opportunity.

🏁360/LS1 QLD title time🏁

Tonight we head back to Maryborough speedway for take 2 of the QLD title for the 360/LS1 Sprintcars. With 26 cars nominated, it will be a good night of racing with only the top 20 making it to the A main.

Again, we can’t thank the Bateman team for this opportunity to run their car for the final time this season.

As always if you can’t make it to the track, clay per view will be live tonight with all the action.

🏁It’s race day but not at a oval🏁

Something a little bit different for this weekend as Karl trades 900hsp for 35hsp as he returns back to where his racing began at Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club. Karl will be competing in 4 stroke modified the results/updates will be posted in the comment section.

It’s with heavy hearts that Karl Hoffmans Racing has lost a important member of our crew Corey has been with Karl since he first started racing sprintcars and we will be lost without him he also crewed for me for a lot of years before Karl took over the seat
I have never seen Corey so excited when Karl won the pro sprintcar feature this season and the smile on his face at the sprintcar awards night
You will be greatly missed
RIP buddy we will catch up one day
