The Willunga Show was a major agricultural and horticultural showcase for the district. it began in 1856, held in the Oddfellows Hall and when Willunga Recreation Park was established in 1876 (150 years ago) the show moved to WRP. The Show Hall was then built by 1890 to facilitate the growth of the event. The last show was held in 1968.

Dogs 🐶 are welcome to chase after galahs and corellas when oval not in use but please pick up their donations.
A reminder that Willunga Primary School leases the oval and basketball stadium and it’s unable to be used during school hours

You already know Willunga is the best Food & Wine Town in the nation, but did you know we are also home to one of the most community-minded parks in Australia?
Back in 1876, a group of determined locals chipped in £96 to buy a patch of land for the community.
Fast forward 150 years, and Willunga Recreation Park (WRP) is now a thriving hub for over 20 sporting, cultural, and entertainment groups!
Because WRP is 100% volunteer-run and non-profit, we need your help to keep this legacy alive.👉
