First night back at Kent Street and first free Pizza night for the new season.
22 people at the club tonight, 18 paddlers.

Tonight’s winner was David Gardiner who got to within 5 seconds of his nominated time.

Don't forget all members are welcome to attend first Tuesday in the month is free Pizza after the race. You don't have to participate in the race, just be down at the club around 6.30 for the race results and the free pizza, BYO, and come have a chat to see what's happening around the club.

Tonight’s winner was Jason Nathan who got to within 3 seconds of his nominated time.

Tuesday 8th September 2026 Club Night
17 people at the club tonight, 14 paddlers.
10 knot breeze, -record low low water tonight, started at -250mm and finished at -350mm, really difficult conditions as can be seen by all the red on the score card.
Tonight’s winner was Connor Jacob who got to within 28 seconds of his nominated time.

Club Night 25 August 2026
Low water tonight at 30mm and 10 knot breeze. Not as many paddlers took to the water as has usually been the case this winter. Most went slower than they nominated on the Riverton Bridge course, but the only exception who also happened to be closest to their nominated time was Alistair Fox, just six seconds off.

We welcomed back Club icons Christian and Judith fresh from a great holiday in Canada and straight back into the timing chair. Thanks also to Phil and Jason who assisted with timing duties.

Club Night 18 August 2026
Technology failed us tonight with our race control laptop locking us out from setting up. We resorted to a traditional paper method. This didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the paddlers. Lowish water again tonight, though this is less of a factor for the Mt Henry Bridge course. A little bit of wind didn’t have much effect on times either with some sharp performances and most going faster than they had forecast.

Closest to their nominated time was Luc, five seconds off. Thanks to timers Phil once again, assisted by Jon and Rod. Thanks also to Dave U for the results presentation and comedy routine.
