Gold Crest Cricket Club

23/10/2026

Unfortunately all games for Gold Crest have been called off for this week. So, unfortunately, everyone's favourite, the Team Announcements, will not be happening this evening... I know, devastating news...

On the bright side, the club will be hosting a training session and a BBQ lunch on Saturday to fill that Saturday cricket gap!

P.S. No news on Over 40s game on Sunday yet

A rainy week definitely caused some commotion coming into this second week of Round 4. With teams unsure if they would be playing or not.

C3 and U13 walked away with the draw after the fields were deemed too wet to play.

Not so much luck for the remaining sides. They had to battle their way through the uncertainty of the rain. Alas, there was no silver lining through the clouds for CCC, B1 or C1...

Player of the Round went to Trent Sorohan with his 86 of 66 balls. Awesome effort Trent!

With another very wet week ahead, we shall see what the next round has in store for Gold Crest

Just a little update on this weekend's games. A lot can happen on Saturday!

A huge win by the Over 40s team to kick off their season!

Congratulations to Brad Douglas on being the Player of the Round! Awesome effort!

Special mention to Michael Davidson who not only played in the morning in the U13 game and bowled 2/12. He then went to play in C1, where he bowled 4/0 off his first over. That's right, you read correctly. 4 wicket maiden off his very first over. Incredible work!!

Bring on Saturday!
