The Michele Buck Umpire Award recognises an umpire who demonstrates commitment to their own development, supports other umpires and contributes to the betterment of umpiring across DPNA.

This umpire represented DPNA at the Senior State Age Championships and continues to umpire regularly at weekly fixtures. She also generously gave her time to mentor fellow umpires, including those attending their first State Age Championships. Her commitment extended beyond the court, taking on additional responsibilities to support the umpiring group and Travel Managers throughout the event.

Her determination, initiative and willingness to support others make her a very deserving recipient. The 2026 Michele Buck Umpire Award recipient is Lexi M!

The For the Love of Netball - Parent - Award recognises a parent who generously supports their child, their team and the wider DPNA representative program.

This parent has been a constant presence throughout the season, cheering the girls through their wins and losses and lifting their spirits when things get tough. His support extends beyond his own daughter, with every player receiving his encouragement from the sideline.

He has attended every game, volunteered at carnivals and is always willing to lend a hand. His passion, positivity and booming cheers have made him a much-loved presence around the courts.

The 2026 For the Love of Netball – Parent Award recipient is Sam L (accepted on his behalf by daughter Everly)!

The For the Love of Netball - Official - Award recognises someone who gives generously of their time and goes above and beyond to support our rep community.

In 2026 alone, this official has coached representative and club teams, assisted with development sessions and holiday clinics, managed a Division 1 team and taken on a committee role at her club. She also regularly steps in when coaches are unavailable and is always willing to lend a hand. On top of everything she does, she is also one of the nicest people around the netball courts.

The 2026 For the Love of Netball - Official Award recipient is Lyndall C!
