Dear students,
It is with incredible regret that we have decided to close Studio Akasa permanently. With the huge amount of global uncertainty around COVID-19, the viability of a community space is quite tenuous, and the financial impact on our local economy will significantly alter our ability to continue serving our locals.
Our final opening day will be the 31st of May, but until then, we are business as usual! Our timetable is changing rapidly to meet demand, and we are running all of our classes as livestreams so you can check in from home.
Thank you to all of the students and teachers who have made our space possible over the past 3 years; it's been an amazing journey, and we'll miss every single part of it.

We’ve made the decision to follow along with gyms and other fitness spaces, and close our doors to students. This is to protect everyone involved in the studio, including our members.
We are still running a (mostly) full timetable – please ensure you check and register for all classes you wish to attend so that you can be kept updated with any unexpected cancellations.

As a space dedicated to community and personal interaction, Studio Akasa recognises that the nature of yoga and Pilates classes means there is significant risk in visiting our studio.

Since Studio Akasa opened in 2017, we've made no secret that we're here for more than just yoga and Pilates. We want to provide a beautiful space that supports and engages locals, and helps people to find a balance in their lives that uplifts and enables.
To help this along, our stylish, grippy, durable Studio Akasa yoga mats will no longer be free to use. Every single dollar from their hire will go to different charities each month, and we'll wear the cost of replacing these premium mats.
Mat hire - $1 per hire (multi-hire cards available at reception)
