On Saturday, almost 300 racers descended on Euroka Clearing, ready to swap their usual weekend routines for a day of adventure. With brilliant racing conditions and trails in excellent shape, it was hard to imagine a better day for the 2026 Blue Mountains Max Adventure Race!
The course delivered! From winding bush trails to paddling the calm waters of the Nepean River and riding the purpose-built Oaks single track, you got to experience some of the very best of the Blue Mountains National Park. Even if you’re a local who knows these spots well, there’s something special about seeing familiar favourites like Jellybean Pool and Glenbrook Gorge from a different perspective.

From the speedsters chasing the podium, to the first-time racers finding their feet, and younger teams taking on the Novice course, the field was full of teams giving it their all. Adventure racing is no small feat. Congratulations on taking on the challenge!

A big thank you to Colorado Coffee for keeping everyone fuelled with excellent pre-race coffee before the start. And an extra congratulations to the Colorado Coffee team, who backed up serving coffees by taking out 3rd place in the Classic Female category. All in a day’s work!
