The mind is fickle; it plays tricks on us all the time. When we are faced with new challenges, do we face them head-on with a warrior mindset, or do we retreat because the challenge is too great?

Your preception of how you see the challenge is fabricated because you don’t have enough information. Change the way you see your challenge, and it’ll change and be less difficult.

If you’re tackling weight loss, muscle growth, improved flexibility, or just a healthier life, break it down into bite-size, achievable steps that, in the long run, make up the bigger picture.

Let’s talk about those fine motor skills that are heavily overlooked. Think about it: As we grow, we do lots of everything to develop our motor skills, and when we get older, we try to move less and avoid the simplest things.

Then, as we age, we create imbalances in the body and get told to do exercises to improve those muscles. We forget the basics; we forget the time it took to develop those motor skills in the first place.

Client Story:

I had an elderly lady come up to me two years ago, unable to close either of her hands, as she was diagnosed with arthritis in her hands.

Her specialist then gave her exercises that were too difficult for her, and she had no equipment at home.

I suggested something straightforward, like using a rubber band around her finger (starting with 1) to open and close her hand; this develops finger strength. It was something simple she could do any time of the day, as often as she liked.

Today, she can hold 3-4 kg weights in her hands, and the pain in her hands has dramatically decreased compared to when she first saw me.

This is incredible!

It reminds us constantly that in our busy world, people are always looking for “advanced” new techniques for quicker improvements; however, the art of keeping things simple still triumphs.

Hi All,

So … I’ve been off Facebook for quite sometime, actually haven’t really been on social media all that much.

It’s almost like everytine I post on Facebook we start with the same post 😅 . The thing is as the years go on we start to forget about the power of social media because we are surrounded by drama, click bait, AI scam and so much more. (There are now AI fitness coaches on social media . . . Because that legal now apparently)

Anyway, getting back tot the point.

I’m purely getting back on these platforms to help those who need assistance with their health and fitness goals.

With a lot of crap out there I am to help people better understand all the information and put together structured plans to help people with their individual goals.

My biggest advice for growing muscle . . . . Wait for it!

Be consistent and eat lots of food that’ll help with the process (Protein & Carbs). Who would have thought? 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s a pretty simple process, most people simply are not consistent enough with the process or committed enough to see the results.

Stop following these gimmick gurus who have had little to no growth over time. Social media is flooded with people in the fitness industry flaunting their body or gimmick exercises simple to make a dollar of suckers and live that ideal lifestyle of having no boss etc.

Enjoy the process, there are no shortcuts or secret fitness programs.

This is a friendly reminder to the young, the beginner, the lost and the insecure. Your personal goals are your own don’t be peer pressured by others, you are going to make mistake, you are going to trial and error. Just remember there is always a path (program) towards your goals once you refine it and have clear direction you’ll progress faster towards your goals. The new year is almost amongst us, which mean you can revisit, revise and reset.
