Today, our Wodonga Little Athletics Centre family is remembering one of our own, Ben Nye.
Ben was the kind of volunteer every club hopes to haveβalways ready to lend a hand, whether it was helping out in the canteen, setting up, packing away, or simply stopping for a chat. His friendly smile, generous spirit and willingness to help made our Centre a warmer, happier place for everyone.
Ben's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He gave so much of himself to our little athletics community, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, kindness and laughter he shared with us.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Ben's family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest peacefully, Ben. Thank you for everything you gave to our Centre. You were taken far too soon, but you will always be remembered as part of the Wodonga Little Athletics family. π
