Great to welcome James back to Shuhari Dojo—one of our first students and original Shodans.His visit is a good reminder that no matter how much time passes, it’s never too late to return to the dojo,the door is always open Oss.

Congratulations to everyone who passed their grading last night, and a big thank you to all the students who attended in support of your fellow Karate-ka.

Being uncomfortable is the path forward.

Getting to training can be hard and uncomfortable; making sacrifices to attend training sessions can be uncomfortable; really pushing yourself to do your best once at training can be uncomfortable; and standing up in front of your peers and Sensei to be graded is uncomfortable. But you all did it—you faced it, and with that, progress was made and the reward is all the more worth it. I'm proud of you all, and you should all be proud of yourselves. Oss."🥋

Congratulations to Laura, Peter and Micah on their impressive results at the Shotokan Cup. Laura earned Gold🥇 in kumite, Peter won Silver🥈 in Kata, and Micah achieved Gold🥇 in Kata and Silver🥈 in kumite.
