What a fantastic attendance at training this past evening, one that saw our most mature athlete be awarded his Blue.

During the session we had the pleasure of awarding our oldest member his Blue belt.

Not everyone who starts this journey will achieve the first advanced belt.

Congratulations Ash, this is a well earned achievement, one you should cherish for many years.

The blue belt is where most people quit.

Not because they have become proficient.

To wrap up the month of Martial Arts Appreciation, we'd like to suggest the movie, Enter the Dragon!

This timeless classic has arguably the first mixed martial artist in it, Bruce Lee.

Bruce Lee is a highly skilled martial artist who enters a martial arts competition not just to win, but to seek revenge for the death of his sister.

You'll even see a cheeky arm lock in this one.

Made in 1973 this classic will bring back some memories for the die hard martial artists.
