Wodonga Diamonds FC Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 28th October at 6:30pm at Birralee Tavern “Steamers Room”.

Enquiries or nominations for the following positions are to be emailed to the secretary by 5pm, Monday 26th October.

Canteen Manager, Social media & communication, Fundraising, Sponsorship, Events, Grounds & maintenance, Volunteer co-ordinator, Merchandise co-ordinator, Member protection officer.

(Please note: You do not need to be a committee member to take on any of these roles.)

We’re looking for enthusiastic, passionate people who are willing to contribute their time, skills and ideas to help our club continue to grow.

Important information for all children undergoing Rep trials this Saturday at our La Trobe fields. There has been such a fantastic response and we can't wait to see you there!

Upcoming information for Rep trials this Saturday at La Trobe.

Message from TD about rep trials:

Hello everyone, such an amazing response with close to 500 kids registered for the AWFA Rep trials. With these numbers, this Saturday is going to be very busy with a majority of the teams trialling.
I ask that players and parents do the following:

1. Turn up at least 30 minutes before your trial to get name marked off and number from registration area as shown on the map.
2. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and any medications that your child may require.
3. Once marked off head over to your area as per the map. Players will keep same number for all trials.
4. Parents to stay off the fields please.
5. Any questions or concerns please reach out to myself or the coach at the end of the session.
6. Returning rep players are not to wear any rep gear from previous years, this includes, playing shirt, shorts, hat, socks, tracksuit or training shirt.

These are fantastic numbers and it is great to see so many players putting their hands up to be a part of our very rewarding AWFA rep program.

A little appreciation post for two of our Wodonga Diamonds winners from last nights AWFA Awards. Jasmine Towers from Division 1 Women's won Goal Keeper of the Year and April Whitty from our Mini-Roo's was awarded Volunteer of the Year. April didn't even know she was nominated for this award, so it was a bit of a surprise to her. We're so proud to have two such wonderful people who have worked so hard this season, achieve recognition for their hard work and dedication to our club.

Our Mini-Roo's Presentation was a fantastic success after a very successful season of soccer. We are very grateful to all of our coaches, families, superstar kids and our club for supporting and advocating for us so much throughout our first season as Mini-Roo's coordinators.

Special thanks must always go to our wonderful Committee - our club president, Murray Ray and Under 8s coach, our Vice President, David Richards and Under 10s coach, club secretary, Lauren and club treasurer, Carmen for helping and supporting us each week. It's not lost how lucky we are. Special mention to Jess Schubert for volunteering to run the canteen for our hosting half each week and never once breaking a sweat! And to all the parents who stepped up and volunteered their time to support us. Our sense of community is strong.

Thank you to all our coaches - old and new, who saw the need to help and did so. With 218 Mini-Roo's kids running around, you made it look so effortless. You are amazing and we look forward to seeing you next year. You've made an impact on our kids.

And thank you to our families who just kept on showing up. Week after week. Cutting hotdog rolls, rolling out goals, putting up goals, finding balls, cooking and serving, helping coach on Thursdays and encouraging our kids. It all made a difference. Thank you for everything. We couldn't have done this season without you. We're very, very grateful. We look forward to what 2027 will bring us.

Tomorrow is our Mini-Roo's Presentation Day!

We will be starting at 11:30am on our fields for a 12pm presentation so make sure you have plenty of time to get there!

Our BBQ will be ready by 12:30pm. It will be served on the grassy knoll overlooking our beautiful fields. Drinks will be $2 and are available through our canteen.

Mini-Roo's can wear casual clothes. There will be goals set up for kids to have a play. Bring a picnic blanket and some chairs and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Let's celebrate our successful season and wonderful kids! We can't wait!

Here it is! Our final round has arrived and what a fantastic season of soccer we have had! From our first 7 games at Jelbart Round to the final 7 hosting at our own grounds - it's been a journey and we are so lucky and proud to have hosted so many clubs at our fields. Thank you for supporting Wodonga Diamond's this season.

The amazing Arch & Willow Co. will be here for our final weekend so grab your coffee fix and support a wonderful local business.

Shin pads
Oranges and lollies (for whoever is on duty in your team)

Please ensure you are at least 15 minutes early to find your field, warm up and get ready for your game.
