Snag yourself an earlybird entry for The SS&A City2City RunWalk that has just opened.

The money raised from this year's event is going to a very important place, The Mental health unit at Albury Wodonga Health.

Early bird half marathon price is $79 🤯🤯🤯
Make sure to put Border Triathlon Squad down as your club/group.
Anyone interested in designing a cool custom event singlet??

"I know people have sat this event out in the past due reasons that im sure everyone read out about in the paper. But its a new leader, and I know we as a town have limited access to the help when we need it."
- Jeremy

What better way to start the training block then starting off with the BTS Women's and Kids Rutherglen Triathlon.

Evidence that Triathlon is becoming more and more popular.

Entries went on sale yesterday (1st October) for NEXT SEASONS Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events.
Late this afternoon (2nd October) Busselton 70.3 has SOLD OUT. This is ridiculous considering we are still 8 weeks out from this year's event.

Do you think race entries for following years should only open at the completion of the current year's race??

***** RESULTS *****
What an absolute pearler of a day, to have a course like that only minutes from the center of town is unbelievable.
We love the people that are getting down to these events. Its why Border Triathlon Squad was started.
Its not too late to become a member either. What are the benefits you ask? Regardless of what level AusTriathlon membership you have, all members get:
- 50% discount to all BTS events
- A very generous discount from Gooch Goo
- 10% discount with LSKD
- 10% of entries to the 2XU Triathlon Series races
- Access to Members only page where more discounts are posted.
I will put a link in the comments.

Just an extra thing to add:
- We had the kids scan on the timing system as a test run. The AusTriathlon rule book says the kids events are not allowed to be timed so we didn't save them. We also want to encourage enjoyment and self belief over results.

What a turnout. Thank you all for coming, setting the bar high for the first event of the season.

Results and a reel will be put out later tonight, im going to enjoy the rest of this cracking day.

But I captured one photo I wanted to share, it really encapsulates what sort of community Border Triathlon Squad is building.
In this one photo is our younger juniors alongside a current IRONMAN Professional.
This just shows our kids that anything is possible and these are the kind of people we have in our club. It goes beyond their ability, it represents who they are.
