An incredible achievement for our very own Andrew, who has been awarded the 2026 Goulburn Murray Storm Premiership Volunteer of the Year!

As our Club Vice President and Women’s League Tag Co-Coach, Andrew’s leadership, commitment and willingness to put his hand up have played a huge role in the growth of our club.

Whether it’s coaching, running water, setting up and packing down, getting involved in club events or everything that happens behind the scenes, Andrew is always there to help. This year he also took on the role of Coach for the Country representative squad for City v Country.

A thoroughly deserved recognition of everything Andrew gives to our club and rugby league.

Congratulations, Andrew. The entire Border Bears family is incredibly proud of you!

An incredible achievement for our very own Tessa McCann-Dillon, who has been crowned the 2026 Goulburn Murray Storm Premiership Women’s League Tag Player of the Year!

Tessa’s talent, consistency and determination shone throughout the entire season. Whether creating opportunities in attack or standing strong in defence, she led through her actions every time she took the field and was an inspiration to the girls that played along side and against her!

This is the highest individual honour in the competition and recognition that is thoroughly deserved.

Congratulations, Tessa—the entire Border Bears family is incredibly proud of you!
