UOW SNOWSPORTS CLUB is proud to be taking part in Sleep Under the Stars 2026 to support young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

Every night, thousands of children and young people across Australia face uncertainty about where they will sleep. Many have been forced from their homes due to family violence, relationship breakdown, or the ongoing housing crisis. Without support, young people experiencing homelessness can face significant barriers to education, employment and independence.

That’s why our team is joining Sleep Under the Stars 2026 and raising funds for Stepping Stone House, a charity providing safe accommodation, education support, life skills and long-term care for vulnerable young people. Their programs help young people build stability, confidence and the foundations for a brighter future.

We’re inviting you to join us in making a difference. You can sign up and fundraise alongside our team, or support our efforts with a donation. Every dollar raised helps provide young people with the safety, support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Have you ever been on one of our trips, watched the fun leaders running around, and thought… “wait, how do I get to do that?”

Well, this is your sign.

Our AGM is coming up and we’re looking for the next crew to join the UOWSnowsports team and help make 2027 even bigger.

You could be helping plan our snow trips, heading overseas, organising socials, leading buses, running fundraisers, working with sponsors, creating content, getting involved with charities, or just being the person who somehow makes the chaos work.

And you don’t need to have committee experience. If you’ve never done anything like this before but want to get involved, meet people and have a crack at something new, our Volunteer Team is a great place to start.

Plus, there are some pretty good perks: priority trip access, exclusive events, bus leader opportunities and plenty of behind-the-scenes access.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and turned it into something truly unforgettable from first lift to last night chaos. We hope you had the best time and walked away with a few questionable decisions and even better memories.

Massive love to our execs, bus leaders, OzSnow and sponsors for all the behind-the-scenes work. Seriously, we couldn’t do it without you.
