50 Club Games - Lucy “Luce” Nagle

Congratulations to Lucy on playing 50 games for the club this weekend!

“I still remember Luce’s first game for the club. She was filling in during a dismal uni break, with her big sister Tara bringing her along for a game at Dalton Park. Even then, you could tell Luce loved it. The following year she committed to preseason and the rest is history. Here we are, 50 games later.
Luce is the definition of a quiet achiever. She goes about her business without any fuss, always looking for ways to improve and doing whatever the team needs. For many seasons now she has been a reliable and important part of our prems midfield, happy to take on any role and always putting the team first.
While her footy speaks for itself, it’s who Luce is off the field that makes her such a valued member of our club. She’s a genuinely lovely person, a positive presence around the group, and someone who cares deeply about her teammates. She helps make our club a better place simply by being herself.
Luce is one of those players whose impact isn’t always talked about enough, but those who have played alongside her know just how important she is. Her consistency, humility, work ethic and team-first attitude have been instrumental in the success we’ve enjoyed over the years.
It’s been an absolute privilege to coach this Barbie over the past 50 games and watch her grow as both a footballer and a person. Today is a chance to give Lucy the flowers she thoroughly deserves. Congratulations Luce on 50 games!”
